McGregor and Devlin have been together as a couple since before he catapulted to superstardom during his time in the UFC. They already have two young children in Conor Jr. (4) and daughter Croia (2). McGregor and Devlin met around the time that he turned his focus to MMA after earning little money as a plumber while growing up in his native Ireland.

McGregor had announced that his partner was pregnant with Rian just a few months ago on New Year’s Eve on an Instagram post.

This caps off what has already been an eventful 2021 for McGregor. He began the year falling to Dustin Poirier at UFC 257, topped the Forbes highest-earning athletes list with $180 million in 2020, and now welcomes a new child to his family just months before his trilogy fight with Poirier at UFC 264.

McGregor has the opportunity to make 2021 the most successful year of his career yet. The winner of the McGregor/Poirier trilogy is almost certainly getting the next title shot against newly-crowned UFC lightweight champion Charles Oliveira, who knocked out Michael Chandler to earn the belt at UFC 262.

While it’s still uncertain if McGregor will return to his old self in the octagon and bounce back from a tough loss to Poirier, it’s encouraging to see that he is continuing to build his family with his longtime partner.
