An American presidential aspirant under the democratic party named Cory Booker once said “Before you speak to me about your religion, first show it to me in how you treat other people. Before you tell me how much you love your God, show me in how much you love all His children.”
Many people go to church but they are not spiritual. Many people are religious but they do not practice religion. Many people profess their faith but barely live it out. Many people pass through the church but the church did not pass through them. Rather than going to the church, why not be the church as someone once said. We cannot claim to love God and hate our fellow human being. We cannot claim to be believers and disciples of Christ and we treat people in an awful manner, in a nasty and disgusting way and disrespectfully. It does not align or add up. It is pure self deception. To those whom much is given, much is also expected. Our action should speak louder than our words.

Where you begin does not determine where you will end. Things may be hard at the beginning, initially, but if we refuse to quit or give up and persevere, the skills we developed and the lessons we learned when the going was tough, when we don’t have anything, when we don’t know how to get by each day, when we have empty pocket, saw no opportunity will help to lead us to where we are meant to be in life.
