Do you have a Dream in life? What is your goal in life? Where do you intend to see yourself few years from now? For one to be successful in life, there is a need for them to have a goal, a target, a dream, a vision, a mission and a direction. Many people fail in life because they do not know what they want in life. For them, anything goes, they are clueless as to where they are going, they have no plans, no set goals, no dreams, they grope in the dark and end up being stuck in one place. The journey to greatness begins with a dream. Who and what do I want to be? What is my calling? What is my mission here on earth, what am I sent into this world to do? Answering these questions marks the beginning of your success in life. When you have a dream, you work towards your dream, to fulfil it, actualize it and realize it. Before one sets out on a journey , they have to have a destination in mind, if not they will endlessly be driving around wasting time, energy and fuel which looks stupid. One of the greatest problems of our youths and why a lot of them have failed is because they have no dream. We have to be clear from the get go what and who we want to be, where we are going and what we want to achieve. Focus on your dream with undivided attention, pursue vigorously your dream, run after your dream with passion, your success depends on yourself, it begins and ends with you. Everybody in this life is born with a purpose and for a purpose. Bishop T D Jakes once said “ if you cannot discover your purpose in life, at least, discover your passion, because your passion will lead you right into your purpose.” Therefore love your dream. To have a dream without working towards it is equal to not having a dream at all. Dream, work equals to success. We have to go beyond the dream and act, do not get distracted. On the journey towards the realization of our dreams, we will encounter many things and many people, some people will support you, some will not, anybody that is not supportive of your dream do not deserve to be in your life, let them go and do not apologize. Wrong people sometimes have to give way for good people to come in. Challenges, setbacks, obstacles, stumbling blocks would be encountered as we pursue our dreams, do not be stopped or fell intimidated by them, they are all part of the process, overcoming them and still getting to the top and become successful is what makes you a hero
