Sometimes it’s not the adult that’s trying to accomplish certain goals. Sometimes it’s the kid inside the adult trying to redeem himself from a past failure. That within itself can be good or bad. When a kid disappoints people who believed in him…There is an inner desire to make them proud of him again. By the Grace of God the time he served during the lowest point of his life has become pivotal in the highest point of his life.
My husband was 24 years old in the 1st picture. He served nearly 7 years in Prison for sales and possession of cocaine. 22 years after being released from prison so-called “jail house religion” has paid off!!! He has a doctorate in Theology…A doctorate in Divinity…and last month he received his PhD in Philosophy Of Christian Ministry.
If I could give advise to anyone who took the wrong path in life, it would be to forgive yourself. Once you have truly forgiven yourself you can move on and be who God says you are!
