HEALTH IS WEALTH: yes indeed, it is. Health is wealth and it is absolutely true. Health is very important for every human person. Health is the most necessary and most significant factor that determines the future and trajectory of every human person. A healthy person is a happy person. Whatever and whoever we want to become in this life would be determined by our state of health. It is the fundamental and primary desire of every human person to be in good health and to enjoy overall physical and mental well being. Care for one’s health should be our topmost priority in life. Without good health, we cannot function well and effectively. Without good health we cannot do much. Without good health, we cannot work hard what more of achieving our goals in life.
Bad health can slow people down, can stall our progress in life, crush dreams, cut short lofty ambitions, poor health can set us back and cog the wheel of our progress in life. Oftentimes, our mind conceives a beautiful idea and plan but unfortunately we cannot pursue it physically because of poor health. Sometimes we have no control over the state of our health. The state of our health could be determined by many factors like the environment, nutrition, cultural practices, DNA, biological make up, etc. poor health could affect our future, career, ambition, goals in life and destiny.
We have only one body and it is the only house of our own we live in. Our bodies need to be taken care of. We need to do our best to keep ourselves healthy. Eating healthy, physical exercise, staying away from harmful habits like drugs, smoking, etc and monthly or constant doctor’s visits would go a long way in keeping us fit and healthy. We can also avoid anything that would be a threat to our health or anything that would jeopardize or endanger our health. We should take good care of ourselves. We have only one life, we should value it and not play with it. If we lose it, that is it, game over. We don’t have a spare life. We function in and through our body, our daily activities is carried out in and through our bodies, therefore, the human body is important and necessary for us to be able to achieve our goals in life. Knowing that fully well, we need to do our best by making sure we stay healthy
There is what is called self love. One has to love themselves. Self love requires that we take good care of ourselves and our health. This includes our physical and mental health. A healthy person is a whole person. It is not a bad idea to attend health seminars and workshops to learn more about our health. It is good also to change unhealthy lifestyles and some harmful practices detrimental to our health and overall wellbeing. Health care is a fundamental human right every one should have access to. Let us not be afraid to see and talk to healthcare professionals. Let us listen to them and obey their instructions for our good and be faithful in taking our pills and medications as at directed. We cannot afford to play games with our health. Playing games and toying with our health is like playing games and toying with our life. Do not take chances, your health should be number one before anything else. Health and wellness are keys to a happy, fulfilled and productive life……
