A man has been severely beaten to the point of death in Kumba Meme Division after he was caught with a bunch of plantain that he stole from a nearby farm.

The incident which occurred at Mbonge Road in Kumba, led to the rescue of the culprit by the police who arrived the scene. The unidentified thief is presently detained behind bars at the Mile One police station in Kumba
