Luke Unsworth prosecuted the case on behalf of the Crown and Graeme Halliwell represented Campbell.
A court clerk explained the charges ‘can’t be dealt with in magistrates court and have to proceed to crown court’ due to the seriousness of the alleged crimes.
Campbell was released on conditional bail until her next hearing, which will take place at Liverpool Crown Court on June 9.
