Krisinda Bright, 48, charged with two counts of homicide for the shooting deaths of her son, Jeffrey Bright, 16, and daughter Jasmine Cannady, 22
Bright, from Ambridge, Pennsylvania, met police outside her home with her children’s dried blood on her clothes and hands
Police found Jeffrey dead from gunshot wounds to the head and face in the basement, and Jasmine dead in upstairs bedroom
Bright allegedly admitted to the killings, saying she first shot her daughter, then tried to shoot her son, but the gun would not fire
She said teen begged her, ‘Please don’t shoot,’ but she fixed the gun and pulled the trigger
After realizing her son was still alive, Bright allegedly said she shot him again so he would not suffer
